Juniper Networks Earns 2006 Award of Excellence in Security from Ingram Micro
No. 1 Technology Distributor Recognizes Juniper Networks for Overall Channel Performance and Partner Engagement in Security
SUNNYVALE, Calif., October 31, 2006 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced it received the 2006 Award of Excellence in Security from the world's leading technology distributor Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM). Juniper Networks accepted the honor at Ingram Micro's 2006 Marketing Symposium held earlier this month at the Sheraton in Anaheim, Calif.
Ingram Micro's annual Awards of Excellence are based upon several criteria including the overall manufacturer engagement with Ingram Micro and its channel partners and the company's achievements against performance metrics for revenue, profitability, marketing programs, reseller support and services. In 2005, Ingram Micro recognized Juniper Networks as the Best New Vendor.

In addition to the Award of Excellence, Juniper Networks recently won the Global Technology Distribution Council's inaugural Rising Star Award for delivering double-digit growth in 2006 as a result of the company's commitment to the channel and relationship with Ingram Micro.
